FAQ

Common Questions
from Partners

Do you provide subcontract labor for out-of-state solar companies?
Yes. We work with solar companies headquartered anywhere in the US that need a certified, licensed regional partner across the Midwest. We cover Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, and Ohio — and can operate fully white-label, representing your brand on site.
What's included in a site survey report?
Our standard site survey includes roof structural assessment, pitch and orientation measurements, shading analysis, utility panel inspection, interconnection feasibility notes, and photo documentation of all relevant conditions. The written report is formatted for your engineering team and suitable for permit submission.
Can you service systems you didn't install?
Yes. We service Enphase and SolarEdge systems regardless of who installed them. We have access to the Enphase Installer Portal and SolarEdge monitoring platform, which allows us to remotely diagnose most issues before rolling a truck — saving your customers time and reducing your costs.
How do you handle permitting across the Midwest?
We have deep experience with municipal permit requirements across Illinois and strong familiarity with neighboring Midwest states. For Illinois jobs we handle permitting directly. For Indiana, Wisconsin, and other Midwest states we work alongside your team or local resources to navigate AHJ requirements. We have direct relationships with ComEd, Ameren, and NIPSCO interconnection teams.
Do you sign NDAs or subcontractor agreements?
Yes. We regularly sign standard subcontractor agreements, NDAs, and white-label service agreements. We understand that your customer relationships are yours, and we operate accordingly.
What is your typical turnaround for site surveys?
For Illinois and immediate neighboring states (Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa), we can typically schedule a site survey within 3–7 business days. Michigan, Missouri, and Minnesota may require a bit more lead time depending on crew availability. Contact us with your location and timeline and we'll confirm scheduling.
